Public awareness of CBD, or medical cannabis here in the UK has increased massively in recent years. Many users are openly admitting the positive effects that CBD has made to their well-being. It’s no longer an alternative lifestyle product, but a mainstream herbal remedy aided by wellness experts and social media influencers from all over the globe.

Besides, there are so many ways of consuming cannabis, that it suits anyone and everyone regardless of their age and gender. There are CBD edibles, beverages, sweets, candies, gummies, and CBD oils for vaping. Speaking of which, vaping in particular is taking over smoking as a safer alternative among many smokers as well as cannabis users.
Thus, market demand for CBD as a liquid that can be vaped has grown significantly. With that said, the current set of products available for sale in the UK may vary in quality and flavour.
Ideally, there are two types of vape juices here in the UK- CBD vape oils and CBD e-liquids. The former being high-strength and the latter being lower-strength in terms of their CBD content. In this post, we shall talk about CBD e-liquids, which can also be referred to as marijuana e-liquids or weed flavoured e-liquids depending on the part of the world you live in.
Regardless of the name though, a CBD or weed flavour e-liquid is similar to ordinary e-liquids that contain nicotine or other flavourings. But instead of nicotine, a CBD e-liquid contains moderate amounts of CBD or medicinal cannabis that is known for its amazing health benefits.
There is already a wide variety of CBD e-liquids available for sale in the market. They essentially fall into three categories depending on the way CBD is introduced as an ingredient- whole plant CBD, full spectrum CBD, and CBD isolate.
- Whole plant CBD e-liquid uses hemp oil/paste as an ingredient. Along with CBD, it contains many other cannabinoids present in the hemp plant, including low levels of THC. (Note: legal sale of cannabis in the UK requires hemp oil/paste content of THC to be less than 0.05 % w/w). The hemp oil/paste ingredient mainly consists of plant-based terpenes, flavonoids, waxes, lipids, and oils.
- Full spectrum e-liquid contains CBD along with a wide range of cannabinoids (including low levels of THC, plant-based terpenes, and flavonoids). However, the wax, lipid and oil constituents of the hemp oil are removed via an extraction process.
- CBD isolate e-liquid contains only pure CBD as an ingredient without any cannabinoids, terpenes, waxes, lipids, oils and flavonoids.
In any case, the best CBD e-liquid in the UK would contain pure CBD with little to no THC. It would also maintain high-quality CBD concentration of upto 10% for safe vaping even if you do it quite often.
You can either buy them in cartridges which can be easily mounted on a vape pen, or bottles that you can use to refill the tank of your existing vaping device.
As evident, weed flavoured e-liquid is certainly one of the best ways of consuming cannabis so as to gain its curative effects without worrying about getting high.
