The Grand Prix is to be held in November 2023, in Las Vegas. Formula One desires to offer NFTs (non-fungible tokens), and digital currencies, at the event. Therefore, it has filed two trademarks for the same, in advance. The details of various virtual currencies and NFTs, may be found at bit-indexai.net. Interested attendees may peruse this all-knowing trading and investment platform.

History of Formula One Events

The first event was launched in Europe, between the 1920s and 1930s. The organizer was the FIA. Also known as Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, it is responsible for sanctioning and governing Formula One racing events. It is a global organization, and is also known as the International Automobile Federation.

Formula is a title in alignment with the group of rules that the drivers of the participating cars must follow. In 1946, the FIA adopted a standard for racing rules. They became the foundation of Formula One racing events. Soon enough, they came into play at the Formula One World Drivers’ Championship, in 1950.

Thereafter, it became part of a world championship series. However, the organization did not confine itself to championship events only. It also encouraged non-championship F1 races to be conducted across the globe. Increasing expenses brought these events to a forcible halt in 1983.

All about Formula One (F1)

The international auto racing sport is extremely well-known across the globe. Contestants take to the racing track in specially-designed automobiles. They are single-seaters, with open cockpits. Even the wheels are of the open type.

This international racing event has an objective behind it. The question is, “Who drives the best?” Every racer must complete a pre-determined set of laps, before crossing the finish line. The one who does it first, is the winner of the event.

A maximum of four drivers may become part of a team, for every season. Each team has a support team backing it, and rooting for its success. The season is titled Formula One World Championship season. Every race during that season is a Grand Prix (GP). The term has its roots in French. It refers to a great prize.

The total of the races held during one season is titled Grands Prix. The number of races varies from one season to another. For instance, there were seven races in 1950. By 2012, the number had risen to 20 GPs. Today, the organizers may arrange for anywhere between 19 and 20 races every season.

Formula One’s Bonding with Different Companies

CryptoCom

Interacting with the digital asset sector is nothing new to Formula One. The association has been in evidence in earlier years, too. For instance, CryptoCom became its Global Partner in June 2022.

CryptoCom is a highly-reputed cryptocurrency exchange. It also took up the role of Inaugural Partner. Thus, it became linked to Formula One’s novel Sprint Series, in 2021.

Other Partners

Then again, other platforms have had agreements with some of the best-performing teams. One such is FTX. Another one is Bybit.

FTX, in collaboration with the Mercedes team, managed to display its logo on the racing cars. Bybit emulated FTX’s actions. However, its partner was the Red Bull racing squad.

Another agreement came to the fore in early 2022. It had to do with the trading venue. This venue acquired the label of Official Title Partner, for sponsoring the Miami Grand Prix.

Formula One’s Plans for the 2023 Event

Michael Kondoudis is a trademark attorney. Therefore, he has been involved in the trademark filing by Formula One. According to him, the filing aims to offer virtual goods to visitors at the great event to be held in 2023. These virtual goods include souvenirs, virtual clothing, digital art, headphones, jewelry, sports gear, etc. Similarly, attendees may utilize certain services on offer. They include digital currency exchange services, trading in virtual currencies, and carbon offset.

However, all these initiatives will be made available, prior to the actual event at Las Vegas. The contest will come into display during the night. All the racing cars will have to go through the exact center of Las Vegas. The route is devoid of sharp turns. Therefore, the drivers of the race cars will be able to cover a maximum speed of 340 km/h, or 212 mph.
