In a world where marketing often feels loud and overcomplicated, Dmytro Makarov keeps things simple. He focuses on clear ideas, honest communication, and a daily routine that helps him stay sharp. At just 24, he is already leading a global agency and running campaigns for some of the world’s most recognisable brands.

Makarov’s path was not traditional. Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, to a business-minded family, he left school early and skipped university altogether. Instead, he threw himself into learning on his own. “I am not afraid to start from scratch if I believe in the result,” he says. Being just a teenager, Makarov was already consulting for clients, and by 19, he already had his own agency. Today, he manages a growing international team from his home base in London.
His work covers everything from digital ads to content, but in recent years, he has become a strong voice for influencer marketing. For Makarov, this is not about trends, it is about trust. “Influencer marketing sets the cultural context today. It is about real, trust-based communication that traditional tools cannot replicate,” he explains. His aim is always to find the voices that speak to people, not just sell to them.
The results speak for themselves. His agency has delivered campaigns for BMW, NIVEA, Intel, Durex, Domino’s Pizza and more. Clients trust the agency not only for results, but for its transparent model. If a campaign does not hit the goals they agreed on, the agency offers a partial refund or extra media placement. What makes him different is not just strategy, it is the discipline behind it. Dmytro Makarov has never worked in a corporate office. He started solo and built everything himself: from attracting clients to setting up ads and reviewing data. “I do not think of myself as a genius – just someone who works hard and cares deeply,” he says.
His daily schedule is consistent and calm. He starts at 7:30 a.m. with a coffee and 20 quiet minutes to read, reflect and plan the day. Mornings are for focused work like strategy or analysis, while afternoons are for meetings and collaboration. In the evenings, he switches off with exercise or downtime, sometimes watching UFC replays or Dota 2 matches. What never changes: each day includes something new: a fresh idea, a new insight, a new angle.
Even with his busy pace, Dmytro Makarov makes time to support causes close to his heart. He funds charities that help children and war veterans, with a focus on education and recovery. For him, giving back is not optional, it is part of leadership. “I am inspired by people who never give up – Ukraine’s defenders, volunteers, doctors, teachers,” he says.When asked what matters most to him, it is not the business wins or the big-name clients. “That I have stayed true to myself through everything – success, loss, war, restarts. And that I have united people whom I trust.”
